PARISH COUNCIL

The Parish Council serves as a consultative body that works closely with the pastor to support the mission and ministries of the parish. Council members represent the parish community, provide insight on pastoral needs, and help guide long-term planning and decision-making. Through prayer, collaboration, and service, the Parish Council strives to strengthen parish life, foster unity, and promote the spiritual growth of the community.

SUPPORTING OUR MISSION

The Parish Council is composed of nine members who serve three-year terms and includes a president, vice president, and secretary. Each year, three new members are nominated and elected. The council serves as a consultative body to the pastor, who is the administrator of the parish and accountable to the bishop. All active parishioners are encouraged to participate in the nomination and election process and to consider serving when called.

PARISH COUNCIL AGENDAS

To encourage transparency and parish involvement, the agenda for each Parish Council meeting will be made available for parishioners to review prior to the monthly meeting. Parishioners are invited to familiarize themselves with the topics that will be discussed and are encouraged to share any questions, concerns, or suggestions with a Parish Council member or the pastor before the meeting.

The Parish Council serves in a consultative role to the pastor, helping to address the needs of the parish and foster the mission of the Church. By making meeting agendas available in advance, we hope to keep our parish community informed and engaged in the life of the parish.

PARISH MAINTENANCE PROJECTS

The Parish Council is committed to being good stewards of the facilities and resources entrusted to our parish community. To help parishioners stay informed, we maintain a list of maintenance projects that have been completed, are currently in progress, or are being planned for the future.

This list provides transparency regarding the care and upkeep of our parish buildings, grounds, cemetery, and other facilities. It also serves as a way to recognize the many volunteers, staff members, and donors whose time, talent, and treasure make these improvements possible.

We encourage parishioners to review the maintenance list regularly to stay informed about ongoing projects and future needs. Together, we can continue to preserve and improve our parish for current and future generations.
