MATRIMONY
Through the Sacrament of Matrimony, a man and a woman are united in a sacred covenant before God. Marriage is a lifelong commitment of love, fidelity, and mutual self-giving that reflects Christ’s love for His Church. Through the exchange of vows, the couple receives God’s grace to strengthen their relationship, support one another in faith, and build a family rooted in Christian values. Together, they are called to live out their vocation as witnesses of God’s love in the world.
GUIDE TO MATRIMONY
Couples who wish to share their lives with each other and with Christ in marriage. Couples should contact their priest at least six months before the tentative wedding date. Our diocese requires a six-month period of formation before marriage can take place. For further information, please call the office and leave a message for Father Rahab or Jennifer Koehler.
