BAPTISM
The Sacrament of Baptism is the foundation of the sacramental life of the Church and a sacrament of initiation through which we are cleansed from sin, reborn through water and the Holy Spirit, and incorporated into the Body of Christ. We live out the promises made at Baptism by faithfully practicing our Catholic faith, making it important for parents and baptismal sponsors to prayerfully reflect on raising their child in the faith.
A GUIDE TO CATHOLIC BAPTISM
Preparation classes are held on the first Saturday of each month, and Baptisms are celebrated on the second Saturday of each month at Verona Catholic Church.
*A baptism class for the parents and God-parents is required.
Las clases de preparación para el Bautismo se llevan a cabo el primer sábado de cada mes, y los Bautismos se celebran el segundo sábado de cada mes en Verona Catholic Church.
*Se requiere una clase de preparación para el Bautismo para los padres y padrinos.
