ROSES FOR LIFE More human beings died in abortions than any other cause of death in 2023. Statistic compiled by Worldometer indicate that there were over 73 million abortions world-wide in 2023. The independent site collects data from governments and other organizations and then reports the data, along with estimates and projections, based on those numbers. Abortion is also the leading cause of death in the United States. “In the USA, where nearly 30% of pregnancies are unintended and 40% of these are terminated by abortion, there are between 1,500 to 2,500 abortions per day. Nearly 20% of all pregnancies in the USA (excluding miscarriages) end in abortion. In 2024, outside money groups spent millions of dollars to convince Missouri voters that abortions were safe, and that they should be permitted up to birth. Missouri voters, by the narrowest of numbers approved the constitutional mandate of the killing of unborn. The battle was lost, the war to save our unborn continues. Please sign the petitions at the back of church today, so that our elected officials will know that we will not rest until every one of God’s children is protected and provided for from conception until natural death.

ATTENTION ALL KNIGHTS! The Knights of Columbus have put together a 12-episode video series, titled Into the Breach. Each episode focuses on a different aspect of authentic Catholic masculinity and features interviews with well-known Catholic commentators and follows the personal story of a man whose life illuminates each theme.
YOU ARE INVITED TO BE A PART OF THIS PROGRAM AND TO BECOME A STRONGER WITNESS TO CHRIST. We will meet on the 4th Sunday evening of the month at the home of Mark and Brenda Conn. The times will be 6-8 PM. Snacks will be provided. The schedule will be: Opening prayer, a short video, discussion, and then games to follow. January meeting will be on Life, followed by games., February meeting will be on Prayer, followed by games., March meeting will be on Sacramental Life, followed by games., April meeting will be on Spiritual warfare, followed by games., May meeting will be on Suffering, followed by games.
We will then break for the remainder of the year and resume next winter. You should bring three things to the gathering: an appetite a learning and sharing attitude.

Cada episodio se centra en un aspecto diferente de la auténtica masculinidad católica y presenta entrevistas con conocidos comentaristas católicos y sigue la historia personal de un hombre cuya vida ilumina cada tema. ESTÁS INVITADO A SER PARTE DE ESTE PROGRAMA Y A CONVERTIRTE EN UN TESTIGO MÁS FUERTE DE CRISTO. Nos reuniremos el 4º domingo por la noche del mes en la casa de Mark y Brenda Conn. Los horarios serán de 6 a 8 p.m. Se proporcionarán refrigerios. El programa será: oración de apertura, un breve video, discusión y luego juegos a seguir.
