LENTEN LUNCHEON & DEVOTION Sacred Heart - Verona will be hosting the Ministerial Alliance Lenten Luncheon & Devotional on Wednesdays starting March 12th at 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Cost is a love offering. The money raised will go to the Ministerial Alliance for help those in need. Each week a different church in the Aurora / Verona area will provide the meal and there will be a different pastor each week for the devotional message. This is open to everyone, so bring a friend along for some fellowship with other Christians during Lent. Holy Trinity’s turn is on March 19th and Fr. Paul will have the devotion on March 26th.

K C FISH FRY’S The next K.C. Fish Fry is Friday, March 21st at Holy Trinity 5-7pm dine in or carry out. Cost is $12 for adults & $8 for children 11 and under. Menu: Fish, French Fries, Cole Slaw, Cornbread, Brown Beans & Dessert. Grilled Cheese option for Children. Stations will be going on at 5:30pm in the Church..
K C FISH FRY’S El próximo K.C. Fish Fry es el viernes 21 de marzo en Holy Trinity de 5 a 7 p.m. para cenar o llevar.El costo es de $12 para adultos y $8 para niños menores de 11 años. Menú: Pescado, papas fritas, ensalada de repollo, pan de maíz, frijoles marrones y postre. Opción de queso a la parrilla para niños. Las estaciones comenzarán a las 5:30 p.m. en la Iglesia.
NEWS FROM THE COR GROUP The COR group met on February 23, with 11 men. The topic was Prayer and the Catholic Man's response to it. After a short video, discussion followed about the many aspects of Prayer and how it enriches the life of men. A big thank you to all the men who came to pray for each other, for the Church and for the spiritual needs of the community.
Our next COR meeting will be on Sunday March 23, at 6 PM at the home of Mark and Brenda Conn, 16001 Lawrence 1170, Aurora. The topic will be The Sacramental Life of the Catholic Man. A short video, followed by group discussion, prayer and then snacks and fellowship fun. If you are interested, please come and be a part of the renewal process taking place in our parishes.
NOTICIAS DEL GRUPO COR El grupo COR se reunió el 23 de febrero con 11 hombres. El tema fue la oración y la respuesta del hombre católico a ella. NEW LENTEN CLASS COMING! Starting Monday, March 10, we will be studying the Ten Commandments, as they are explained by our Catholic Catechism. We will meet in the Holy Trinity Church Hall from 6-8 PM. A light meal will be provided before. March 10: The First Three Commandments- Duty of God. If you cannot make one or more of the classes, don't worry, each class is distinct and can be done separately. This will be a great way to use Lent as a way to strengthen our faith formation and to get to know our fellow parishioners better.
